As part of recognizing April as Child Abuse Awareness Month, AVCP participated in the Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC)’s 8th Annual Children’s Fair in Bethel. It was held Friday, April 1, 2016 at the Moravian Church Hall from 4pm to 6pm.

Children of all ages participated and spent time learning about all sorts of things from the different agencies and organizations. The event is set up as a scavenger hunt where the kids go from table to table, learn different things, pick up free goodies and get their papers signed. Once they visit each organization their paper is put in for a prize drawing.

The AVCP Child Care staff set up a hop-scotch floor mat and had a bean bag toss for kids to try. They gave out oranges and apples to those that visited their table.

AVCP would like to thank CAC/TWC & all the other organizations that participated, along with the children who came and attended the event. We look forward to next year’s Children’s Fair.
