Temprorary Assistance for Needy Families
AVCP with the cooperation of State of Alaska, Department of Public Assistance successfully transitioned the Alaska Temporary Assistance Program's cases through a 3 month time frame, AVCP assumed full control over the temporary assistance cases in January of 2001. Because of the limited number of non-native cases, the 2 parties entered into a Memorandum |
| of Agreement to provide services to all potential clients in the AVCP service area. The TANF Program averages 850 cases per month. AVCP is operating program that is identical to the Alaska Temporary Assistance Program and adopted its Policies and Procedures. |
