DESCRIPTION:The Association of Village Council Presidents (AVCP) invites you to our first Public Safety Summit\, August 1-2\, 2018\, at the Yupiit Cultural Center in Bethel\, Alaska. \nRegister here. \nOur member Tribes have identified public safety as their number one priority. The Public Safety Summit will provide a forum for our tribal leaders and public safety providers to guide our work in addressing public safety issues and improving the well-being of our communities. Please join us for this meeting with tribal leaders to learn from their experiences addressing public safety in the Y-K Delta while identifying opportunities for collaboration and partnerships. \nThe summit is open to tribes\, city governments\, corporations\, public safety providers\, emergency responders\, service providers\, court judges and staff and community members.
