Bethel, Alaska – AVCP is joining YKHC in asking that communities and individuals on the Yukon
Kuskokwim Delta go into shelter in place for the next month.
In a press release dated 11.16.20, YKHC “…urges all communities in the YK Delta region to
immediately enter into a month-long shelter-in-place, or lock down, to curb the spread of
COVID-19…” The regional health corporation cites its preparation as it anticipates health care
facilities to hit capacity in the next weeks.
