The AVCP Prevention Unit is seeking professional services to develop curriculum for the Healthy Families program. The consultant will have a high level of expertise in and understanding of 1) Yup’ik/Cup’ik/Athabascan history, culture, and values of the AVCP region; 2) Building curriculum for teaching groups of up to 20-25 people; 3) Facilitating groups and knowledge of group dynamics. Consultant fluent in Yugtun and able to speak fluently with Qasgiq Elders throughout the project preferred, but not required. Consultant services are needed for approximately 1 year (August 2022-August 2023). General hours of work required per week will vary by each phase of the process.
