Bethel, Alaska – AVCP urges Tribes and communities on the Delta to keep a careful watch of the
dangers Covid-19 can bring to communities in the region. The region has recently been identified as
having one of the highest rates of COVID-19 in the country and the virus can spread quickly in our
villages.
AVCP is urging regional community leaders including tribal councils, municipal governments,
businesses, schools, to heed the advice of YKHC found on it’s web page, https://www.ykhc.org/
covid-19/.
